Default Replacement Axles

Any good places other than Driveshaftshop.com?

Shopping for new axles "OEM" or higher rated for my mini. Just wondering if there's more options/maybe some feedback. Stealership wants $1100 for stockers and DSS.com has 475hp rated axles for $850 Their "oem" setup is only $400. I'm still on the fence about which to buy just yet so I'm lookin at both. Price isn't really the deciding factor as much as feedback/warrantee

My old merc was easy...only the dealer sold axles. I'm going nuts with the mini cause I've actually got choices

the ones from DSS.com... the 475 hp ones, they have a warranty? Can you tell if they are any beefier from the pictures compared to OEM replacement?

If the axles pictured are exactly what they're selling then yes they look beefier. I'm guessing they stock photos though. Iirc they're warenteed for 3yrs.

Im making a few calls in the morning. Hopefully I can get em on order and in my hands in time for my long weekend. My luck I'll replace it and itll be something dumb like a damn injector

I'm not concerned much about price even though it is a bit of a deciding factor. I know dealerships are bullshit so I'm just hunting around to see what I can get elsewhere.

It's not really any one dealership I'm lookin at. I've got contacts with Orlando area and Tampa area mini dealers but both go through MiniUSA anyway.
