When it was released the damn thing compete with Ferrari's for how much less?
LOL at "Listen Up" from the little 18 year old.

Also, I'm far from close minded, you ignorant asshole.

not from what I've read of what you've posted so far

performance is not always measured by horsepower alone
there is an overall balance to any car, where too much HP/torque is
detrimental to the car

The only benefit of having extra rpms is that you can take advantage of higher gearing to give it better acceleration as you pass peak torque. But say for example, your peak power is at 7k but you can spin it to 10k and by that time at 10k the curve has dropped off so bad that you are making the same power you did at say 4k. So even if you shifted that high you probably would overshoot your powerband when you went into the next gear. So it would be pointless to go that high.

You keep the rpms as close to the power band as possible. You dont try and see if you can dent the underside of your hood with a piston.

also, i think people don't realize that ls1/ls7 style motors can rev just as high as some hondas with the correct mods. not necessarily streetable 5 digit RPMs, but it's not like they redline at 5800rpms anymore.

also, shoulda swapped in this bad boy. horsepower is irrelevant when you can just wormhole that turd to the finish line. Note: not responsible for splattered guts all over the cockpit, being possessed by pure evil, or sudden urges to stroll out of the airlock without a space suit.
