i cant find it in the statues but i know its a law to do so because your license plate is not visible. can someone please help me out on this one?

 

If the spaces are diagonal, it's illegal to back in. Otherwise, unless signs are posted, I think backing in is legal. Most parking garages don't allow backing in.

 

WTF? Thats a law? How about I park backwards for convenience pulling out of the spot. It makes sense to park backwards if you dont have traffic coming because backing out not being able to see until your window gets past the other cars rear bumper means you can already be backing out into or in front of someone thats about to T-bone you. Seen it happen.

 

most apartment complexes and deed restricted communities have it written within the rules when you move in.

im not certain if its an actual law though.

 

Not a law, but as pointed out some parking lots require a direction, usually only so that the parking sticker patrol can easily see your parking sticker or tag without having to walk all over the place.

Ever hear of stolen cars? You know sometimes they need to be parked too at some point, or maybe expired registration.
