To answer your question, I don't know of any shops that will resurface a slotted rotor.

With that said, you would benefit more from better pads, store brand rotors and an entire brake fluid flush. Hawk HPS would be a great DD pad.

I use autozone blanks (non-slotted or drilled) on my track car and don't have a problem with them.

If all you're doing is street and AX then slotted won't help you as much as a good pad if at all. But they look cool and that's as good of reason as any to get them. Two-piece look even cooler and people will think you're a serious tracker with two piece rotors. So go with two piece slots.
