Ford certainly brought it with the new Mustang. I get the feeling that this car is going to be one of those benchmarks that other companies are stuck chasing for the next few years.

It's kinda like saying, "well you could build a civic that's just as fast for less". It's still a mustang, and it still looks like shit.

Nope. I never said it was.

If I would have said, "My SE-R is the fastest ever" it would have warranted a dumbass response from you. Instead, I pointed out that the comparison being made is very similar to the retarded comparison of any car to a built civic or other honda. Nice try though.

It's ok I sense your hate of domestics. Carry on.

And the mustang wasn't "built" to compete, they're both show room cars and the Mustang was neck and neck with a top of the line european sportscar.

Best bang for the buck? Let time tell.

It's not a hate of domestics that you sense. It's completely a hate for mustangs that look like shit, and are completely unoriginal in design. Redesign it, give it the 5.0, then you have a badass car.

Go with an old retro idea, make some lame attempt at it, and then give it a 5.0, and now you've got a turd with a diamond underneath. That's what this body style mustang has always been.
