M3 vs 5.0 GT
It's not a hate of domestics that you sense. It's completely a hate for mustangs that look like shit, and are completely unoriginal in design. Redesign it, give it the 5.0, then you have a badass car.
Go with an old retro idea, make some lame attempt at it, and then give it a 5.0, and now you've got a turd with a diamond underneath. That's what this body style mustang has always been.

So what. How can you call a M3 a tuned BMW when you call a 5.0 a stock car? If I remember correctly, you pick a M3 up off the showroom floor the same way you do any mustang. Unless there's a magic fairy tune that occurs sometime between when you purchase the vehicle and when you actually drive it off the lot.

A 5.0 is a mustang, a gt is a mustang and a regular old 6 cylinder is a mustang. The 5.0 is top of the line for Ford's lineup of mustangs. The M3 is BMW's top of the line for the 3 series.

GT's are not top of the line...hence other models above it. I'm not wanting to hop in the arguement...I see both sides, some people don't like mustangs...just like I hate rice crap. But a nicely built car is a nicely built car, and these are very well built machines!
