Ok I was wondering what years came with the LSD you guys like on the 240sx?

and what are they geared @?

pssssst ....I was doing this to help you NISMO guys,You waisted more time making that post in stead of answering a yes or no..I guess it wouldnt help me to post there if you didnt know the answer..

Well if you guys do need these rear end I will sell them about $125-$150 depending on the look of them..I dont think you guys can get it that cheap..if so tell me....thats the whole rear end with brakes etc..

 

240sx diffs
j30 diffs
z32 diffs (non turbo)

all r200v diffs

240 geared at 4.0831:1 (basically 4.08 or 4.10 gears almost)
j30 and z32 diffs geared at 3.92

 

Sorry Dan Im confused of your post..the cars you listed..are these the ones they like the rear ends from?I was tring to figure out if a 1990 and 1991 had a LSD rear end..

 

91 was the first 240sx year to have lsd but there are a few 90s who claim to have them as well.

all canadian 240s had lsd after 91

 

So how will I tell by looking at the car while its on the ground if its a LSD?
Like I said one is a 90 and one is a 91..They both are in a junk yard of some guy I know..and I was thinking of yanking it and selling it here..or maybe see if Z Docs or Z Fever maybe even e bay..

 

Yeah if I was gonan do another car it will be rear wheel drive..and probally early 90s or late 80s 240s rear wheel drive it the shit..

 

btw no late 80s 240s...well 89 but i consider that 90s lol.

for s13s you will likely have to check for superhicas in the rear. abs doesnt mean jack shit in s13s but likely they had all 3 of those paired.

s14s only had lsd if there was abs (or if it was a modded car, someone might have installed it themselves as an add-on).

also look on the differential itself. might have an orange tag.
