Does it matter..I think the 91 is a Trunk 240 not a hatch?

 

If you have access to the axle it is easy to tell if there is posi just by trying to rotate the two hubs in opposite directions.

 

the rotation thing doesnt always work either tho.

some owners can turn them in different directions even when there is lsd. its is viscous if that has anything to do with it.

super hicas u can tell by seeing if there are "power steering" lines leading to the back wheels. super hicas is just hi capacity 4 wheel steering.

 

The viscous LSD can be rotated in opposite directions by hand, but you can feel the resistance. If the viscous coupler is so shot that you can't tell, then its best to leave those at the scrap yard unless you are looking for a fixer upper.

 

Fuck it...I didnt think about this but I have hook up at dealerships..Im just gonan get the VINs..and have a friend run them to see what the car came factory eqiuped..I feel this should be better instead of guessing or buying the wrong shit..

I hope both are LSD..I think I wll post them here for the Nissan guys for a week..or 2 then if I still have them ..I will try Ebay im gonan make my money back reguardless..I just rather help someone around here if I can..
