You should be able to do it yourself if you want. Place strings around the car and even up the toe, use a plumb bob to do the camber then check everything again. You'd be amazed how well it turns out, much better than any shop for me.

I was figuring he didn't have a camber gauge or slip plates, using that my car is spot on, goons who try to do an alignment (tire places) would make it worse.

umm ..I cant belive you even gave that kinda advise..
Most shops wont messed with lowered cars cause they go by manufacture specs..When you lower a car..it throws out the camber/caster/toe//some cars have after market camber/caster kits that you can try to get some of your adjustments back..BUt without them it wont be exact...

@leadfootedfool
wut kinda work do you do anyways?

Have you ever done mechanical work at a shop?
Why would you tell this guy to brake out strings and do his alignment like that?

They havent used that technic like 15 yrs..lol

Cuase all they would really need is a little toe adjustment..
If the hit something hard to damage caster/camber then most likely the would not finish the run..

You can only eye so much..Even though manufacture specs has a pretty good range..

Would you try to do this method with smimmed upper control arms like a GM or Ford?
It would be a bitch
