So I've been debating about purchasing a cheap car for the summer.Not this summer, but maybe for next summer. Something that can sit four people comfortable. A car basically used for the beach, Drive to theme parks, movies, or to go cruising with the fam.. Only cars I can think of that are still eye appealing and worth driving are....


1. 2k+ Stang vert
2. 99+ VDub Cabrio
3. 2k+ Eclipse
4. Jeep Wrangler



What cars would you guys recommend ???

 

If your friends are over 6 foot, then you can't fit 4 people into a mustang vert. At 6'3 I had to sit sideways in the back seat when i rode in one, and they had to put the top down or I would hit my head. haha no room at all.

If you want a vert look into an old 3 series or like a m30. 300z/supra with the t tops would be sick.

None of those 4 cars you mentioned, aside from maybe the Jeep (although last time I sat in the back of a Wrangler it was 12 years ago) can fit 4 people comfortably. Do you want a fun in the sun top down car or a highway touring sedan that has enough room for 4? Because the latter sounds like what you are looking for. Looks like the Jeep takes the cake for those you mentioned

 

go with a jeep only if it has an inline six, dont get the v6 3.8, crap.
