On the hunt for hid's?
DDM is horrible, I hope they change there HID kits. Seriously coming from a BMW owner who use to buy shit from them.

That's funny... because when I installed mine I drove up and down the street past my friend who was sitting in his car (a camaro no less) and he said they weren't blinding at all. Never had a car flash me... People just don't know how to aim headlights

Exactly! That's a lot of it. Also depends on what kit you get and the design of your reflector housing. I didn't have the time/money and didn't want to take my headlights apart to retrofit projectors into them. I have "black" housings though where part of the housing on the side is painted black instead of chrome like stock. Between that and using a 35w kit instead of 50w, they are still brighter than the halogen bulbs but don't blind people at all!

Yeah 55w are pretty unnecessary in most applications IMO. the 35's work just fine... I have never needed my high beams (and I paid the extra for the dual filament bulbs since one bulb is hi/lo)
