Any car that is modded and ragged on all the time will not be reliable. Its just a Neon and its not the fastest thing out there. You take care of the car and you won't have the problems others have had.
true fact. Ive sold over 100 srt's in the last 2 3 years, the only ones that didnt come back, or argued about their shit had 10k or 20k over that they were bitching. Eaither tranny forks, syncros, boost leaks, ecu issues, blah blah blah.

Be smart and buy a fucking evo

I'm on my second S2000. I think they are great cars and can be picked up for a decent price these days. With that said if you have the money to pay for the S2000 or the SRT, maybe it aought to be worth some time to look into getting an Evo. The are comparable in price to both cars, more power, a better aftermarket and better platform than the SRT. Not hating as they are all capable cars. Just my 0.02.

But evos cost like 16+ when I could find an srt for 9k. And I was thinking about an evo but don't they slack on top speed vs SRT's since it's AWD? And I heard that they prone to break from launching since the AWD too is this true?
