They should of made a Hybrid Model, and a performance model.

I'm more interested in newer fords over these hondas...

I don't think you can classify a TL with civics, CRX's, integras, etc...

Even better, if you want to be unique, step out of the heard of Hondas.

Again, thats just my point of view.
Interesting that people with RWD do the same exact thing. They do engine swap and modifications as much as FWD owners do. And also What I just mentioned is not new. It has been done since the beginning of time. Do not put words in my mouth. I specifically said I was tired of seeing the same shit being done all the time. Some1 to take this body style and swap in a motor has never been done yet. Probably because this car isn't even sold in the states yet. Be unique and step out of the Hondas ?? Hmmm let me guess I should get a Mustang or how about a Camaro. Does that sound better... Oh no wait let me get a dodge neon, or a Ford Focus, Better yet how about a BMW. No1 owns those or mods them right ? . Looking at my signature should make you smart enough to know I am unique.

Who is they ???? Seriously point them out... Who is they that said dropping a Swap in this shitty looking vehicle would be sweet ? I bet you couldn't name 5 people on this website that would say swapping out the motor in this for a b series, or k series would be sweet. If you did then fuck me, but I'm willing to bet the world you couldn't.

ya got me. I totally bought a 4 door heavier version of the Accord just for the idea of swapping it and making a 9 second car. I was hoping I could slip that one past, but you guys are just too smart for my tricks

No in all seriousness, I bought the car as a commuter, bc after working on h/a for 8 years, I can tell you this much: if you dont mess around, H/A's will run forever. 160k on this one. It's just here to tide me over til I sell my house and get my next toy

getting all worked up over a honda, relax man.

In these parts, I'm an old man, I've been around building Hondas since 97-98 - before TR even existed. I guess you'll just have to trust me, but when the Insight was released in 99, all the Honda ppl were stroking themselves at the thought of swapping in a B series into that 1800lb (wet) chassis. I agree, the Insight wasn't built to moisten panties, but if you can't do the math on 1800lbs + 200 plus HP (and I'm sure you can) then we probably should just end this right here

I'm not getting over worked over a Honda. I just don't think its fair that you are only putting Honda into a category by themselves when every other make and model is modded/swapped to hell. There were three styles offered for the Insight back in the late 90's. Just incase you have forgotten I will refresh your memory. MTX with ac 1880lbs MTX without ac at 1850lbs and the CVT with ac at a whopping 1960lbs. If you consider yourself an old man because you been in the game since 97 or 98 I feel sorry for you. That isn't even close to old school and at 1800 pounds why settle for the insight when you can get yourself a first gen that is 1500lbs. It's 300lbs lighter then the insight so you do the math. 1500lbs +200 HP (I am almost certain you can). Even a 4th gen that is around 1933lbs for the HB or DX hatch which isn't that bad + 200hp is still great.
