i got up under my car today after school..i noticed that the oil pan gasket and head gasket are bad....not sure...i have a consistant dripping could i possibly get all that oil from there

 

when my head gasket went bad I had oil flowing out of it. best bet is to clean the engine then with it clean see where the fresh oil is comming from

 

Nobody knows what causes the crankwalk really but it seems if your engine is one that was born with the crankwalk gene it will hit you regardless sooner or later.

When you press your clutch pedal down to disengage the clutch you put thrust load on the crank pushing the crank towards the front of the engine the heavier your pressure plate the more thrust load you exert onto the crank thrust bearing. This added force is what has been known to accelarate crankwalk the thrust bearings are what fail.

As far as clutches Id say the 2100 should work perfect for turning out 110mph and lower trap speeds in the 1/4. I wasnt having any problems with the 2100 in my laser even with hot lapping then again I was getting 2.3 60 times on radials. Anyways I wouldnt be too worried about using a 2100 clutch unless a drag strip demon is in your future 2100 should be fine for probably 70% of the street/strip FWDs.

 

i have oil sitting right under my flywheel by the edge of my oil pan....is the 4 layer tight for a replacement & also can i put that haus on by myself or should i take a little trip to foreign connection?....back to the oil pan shit ...i think i got my clutch wet....so we will see if it holds up but chances are no since my speedometer was fucked up too...
