I'm with P057. Most of those pour in quick fixes might stop the leak but they will cause other problems down the road. I personally wouldn't want that junk going through my whole cooling system and gunking up the inside of my engine. Better off just getting a new radiator.

Don't put anything in your cooling system unless you don't care about your motor. Try jbweld over the leak.

It those work, I've done it in the past.

Removed the radiator from the car! drain it an clean as good as possible. air dry really good, find the leak, if the spot thats leaking can be sanded a little, do it, you want to apply the JB weld to direct metal, not paint. Let it dry good, and should hold up till you can save up for a new one.

Better then quick fix, that stuff stays in the system and messes up the water pump or other things, but the jb weld, worst case! it leaks again.

You should be able to find one for around 100 somewhere... i herd of radiatorrus so i went there real quick and for an 03 ranger with the biggest motor (4.0) and it was $140 or one weekend worth of alcohol for you.

To join in, get a new radiator. I never put anything in the system and would not recommend it as it goes through everything. Nothing worked, JB Weld, the spray sealant or any of it. New rad...

I had a slight leak in my old mustang back when I didn't know shit about cars. I bought this grey metallic looking stuff and followed the directions and it cured it, no lie. I proceded to drive that car hard for a few more months and it was still perfect. I sold it like all my other cars but I'm sure it worked out fine.

Don't blow your money on a new rad. JB weld that shit, or just temp keep it filled for the time being, and have it rebuilt on your spare time. Rebuilding radiators is way cheaper than replacing it, and it's good as new.
