Re-poll: Best 4-cylinder engine.
let me re-phrase that. what is your favorite 4 cylinder engine?
There's a substantial lack of worthy engines in the last poll, so to set the record straight, I present you the re-polling for the best 4 cylinder engine.
I'll try to make this as fair and simple as possible, If a manufacturer has multiple renowned engines, I'm going to bulk them. I think this will make for a more accurate poll. I'm only going to post engines that are widely available in the US in which are commonly modified.
the poll only allows for 10 options so im going to add only the more commonly used engines.
to make even more room I'll group manufactures that have co-designed the bulk of their engines or have very similar engines, (Volvo and Ford 2.3.)
therefor, Saturn LLO will be grouped with Chevy engines, dodge will be grouped with Mitsubishi, Volvo will group with Ford because of the similarities between their 2.3T's, Mazda will group with Ford, Hyundai Theta (Gen coupe) will group with the Mitsubishi 4B11 look it up, Isuzu 4XE-1 will group with the Toyota 4AG, look it up. sadly the Suzuki 1.3L and Saab engines wont make the cut. Cosworth engines are only Variations of existing engines from Benz, Ford and Chevy so they're listed in that manner.

SO basically its a question of which engine manufacturer you prefer. There can be legitimate arguments made for and against each. This will end up being a poll of which 4 cylinder is most popular on TR...and the answer will be Honda. Followed by either Nissan or Mitsu. I hope Subaru makes a good showing, its my favorite import 4 cylinder. Ill go ahead and cast what may be the only vote for the ecotecs.

In a way it does make it a manufacturer vote, but other wise there would only be room for honda engines and a few others. this is the best solution. If honda wins we can assume its due to the likes of either the F22C or the K20, if nissan wins it'll be the SR or KA, you catch my drift.
people can always just post what they voted for.

Why the likes of the F22C or K20? B18C-R would have my vote.
Still sticking with my original vote of the 4g63 from the other thread. The grouping thing sucks though.
But you're going to get alot of different responses, because "best" can be defined several ways.
