Most car PS and AC pump go bad at one point, must of those people that care more about other things would rather remove ac/ps free for more power. Esp if its not working, but if you remove a perfectly good working ac/ps pump on ur dd then your a ricer.

Sorry.

Ugh. No a/c or p/s sucks. My Teggy didnt have any a/c or p/s when I bought it, but those were the first things I had fixed on the car. Brings back hella funny memories without p/s in the mountains of NC. lol.

my civic didnt have PS or AC. Even when im driving the RSX i still just drive with the windows down, i just got used to it and dont mind it, especially with the weather now. PS was a lil harder to get used to on my civic. I got the hang of it eventually even though it sucked to get out of tight parking spaces lol. On the RSX i wont take the PS or AC off, its a commodity that i prefer to have in case it starts raining, my windows wouldnt get all foggy, like my civic it sucked big time.

But sometimes when you swap out the motor in your car there is not enough room in there, my plans before i sold the civic was a K swap, there would have been no room in there even if i did want it, i couldnt put it in.

Swap issues for me. Plus its easier to work on without all those lines in there, and its just less junk in the car. The AC didn't work so i ripped it out, hasn't been a problem for the last...6 years. Never been an issue with any girls, and I've never really suffered for it. PS would have been more work to swap in, and I just didn't feel like it. May go to an electronic system in the auto-x/RR car, but we'll see.

But even in the S2K I don't use the AC

IDK about no AC and the ladies lol I think almost every girl that has ridden in my car wanted the AC on and windows closed. I roll with the windows down almost all the time and my AC works great. But the fresh breeze is so much nicer.

On most cars I prefer the steering input feel of no P/S, I can't stand it when the steering wheel feels too "light" like on BMW's. I've removed working systems out of past Honda's I've owned. I want to do it on my BMW if I can fab up an idler pulley. On my evo I plan on leaving it in because the car feels good with PS. I will never again remove A/C from a daily driver. I made that mistake once when I was 18 and won't do that again.

its on the ricers guide to more power for free!!!

i almost always keep my windows up and ac on unless its a cool breezy day and im cruising to the beach or something. my neon has no a/c or power steering but it also didnt have power anything, interior fans or anything i hated it! it might of gave me 1hp but isnt worth it at all, the one and only thing i did like about it was how clean the engine bay was and how easy it was to work on with all of that out of there...
