Who is running these and how much road noise do they make? These BFG g-force KDWs are fucking killing me...and I need a quieter tire before I go deaf. Of course Ill be checking my rear alignment prior to ordering new tires but I am about 99.9% sure that my alignment is close to perfect from looking at my even tire wear.

I have em on the rear and I like em a lot. They wear twice as fast as other tires but the traction is supburb.

i know a few people that have them and love them... not much noise at all and pretty grippy for a cheap tire.

I have run them them grip ok for their price however they will not compare to BFG g-force KDWs in traction. They last well and grip good I think for the price it is hard to find a better tire.

So I am assuming you have run the KDWs as well? Did you also find that they were friggin loud or have you heard from anyone else? I have only talked to a few people about the KDWs and they said they were a bit louder than the average tire. I find this kind of strange since these were the exact same tires that came on the SVT Contours.

Decent tire.
They are inexpensive and road noise isnt really that noticeable but they squeal like a stuck pig if you decide to get a little agressive with them. They stick somewhat decently once heated up and the wear factor is damned amazing. Ive got about 20k on them and probably about 4 or 5 auto-x sessions and they are wearing very nicely.
Still though after experiencing a few Azenis beat-downs Id have to opt for them. They are a hell of a lot better for competition but if youre mainly concerned about daily driving Id opt for the Kuhmos.

Im probably going to ditch these KDWs in favor of the Kumhos for my everyday tires. I still have lots of tread left on the KDWs...so Ill put them on another set of 16s and grind them down as designated auto-x tires until I can afford better tires.

Thanks for the info guys!
