Default Got a quick tint question..

Hey everybody..So alright my dad has this car and the people who owned it before him were this road trip somewhere and there kids where in the backseat bitching the whole time that they were "hot" so he got mad and pulled into walmart. He bought and some of that shitty walmart window tint, and proceeded to do the rear window in the parking lot in like 5 min with a razorblade in BFE...Needless to say that it looks like ass and now its been awhile and for some reason the tint just turns straight brown from the inside and you cant see out.. It doesnt look any different from the outside but when you get in and sit down it looks just a brown screen, But it also goes away at random times..Wierd

But now to the real question. How should i go about taking the tint off and removing the nasty goop shit thats gonna be left? is there any certain spray or something? anything i should/shouldnt do?

any tips or anything will be appreciated

Use razor blades too.. I normally use more than one when they get dull, but you could use just one if you've got the patience. Youre not going to harm anything as long as you're not hitting a defroster line

Spray windex on it. Cover the whole glass with a garbage bag and make sure its taped all around (after you spray windex on it). wait for a couple hours and the tint and glue with come off with ease.

if the tint is on the back window i wouldnt use a razor blade if it has defroster(?) lines. they will scrap off. you could pay a tinter to remove it with a steamer, of if you could find a steamer to use... ^^^ should work as well-
