I have 12000k hids currently installed. Its a very blue/purple tint, and I hate it. I've seen 6000k's, and I like that color and brightness. Is it possible to keep the same ballasts and everything, and just replace the bulb with a 6000k hid bulb? Would anything burn out or life shorten or anything?

 

Just get new bulbs, the ballasts are pretty much universal. The bulb connector to ballast connector is 99% the same, its the bulb holster that changes from car to car depending on type.

See if you can get a hook up on a couple 6000k bulbs for GST racer!
