lol I remember getting quotes when I was a beater with pip on my hondas'... the quotes are literally like 3x as much if you have full coverage.
it's kinda fucked up in my opinion, scamming the shit out of our ins companies, it's another reason we have such high rates

safelite is one of the worst glass companys around! my dad owns his own glass company (blue ribbon auto glass) i work with him sometimes and we have to replace at least 3 or 4 safelite jobs a week. they are always leaking or making alot of wind noise. if you have any surface rust on the area that you glue the windshield down they never clean it which will intern lead to leaking. and you have a better chance of the windshield breaking from hitting bumps or anything hitting the windshield.
so either call
blue ribbon auto glass-941 234 2046
or if he doenst cover your area
i would recomend gulf coast auto glass.
just stay away from safelite.

i've watched them replace 3 of mine and they always cleaned the area before they put the glue/urethane stuff on and also cleaned up their mess when they were done
and why arent these people calling safelite to get the rework done when they have a lifetime warranty?..... which i've also used, they fixed a chip and didnt get all the air out so there was a bad glare, like sliver/crack so they came out and replaced the windshield.... it probably wasnt that bad to the normal person but my eyes are fucked up and it was messing with my vision.

idk man im not into it that heavily i just know that safelite tends to do a shitty job. i know that they like to buy out local shops and then fire all the installers and hire no name guys that are fresh on the block and shit like that
Lloyd's Auto Glass will give you a free box of steaks, lol

its just like any larger company,.... your gonna get a few people that work there that dont take pride in thier work and it shows in the final product. Just because a few dumbasses do it wrong doesn't mean the whole company does things incorrectly.
