Say what you want about Honda but these "knock-offs" are just sad.
If you can "build" such a great car then you shouldn't have to use someone's elses platform to sell it.
Plus no one is writing up on how you can get more and do more with their engines.
Put simply, its a nice package for the kid with no skill and just wants to look cool.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Actually it might be more coincidence than people realize. This was a concept car from years ago, possibly before the current gen Civic was finished.

I actually like it. It does look exactly like the civic, but as stated before, this car was a concept several years ago. Maybe honda copied Kia's design. Either way, it's a good looking car with more power and for thousands less with a better warrenty.
