I'd buy that over a Civic any day! It's cheaper and it looks the same to me lol.

I like it. IF I was in the market for a compact coupe It would b high on my list b/c of price. But I hate Kia their cars are always poorly designed and made with less then stellar materials.

Looks just like a Civic. Good prices though, and it's cool you can get it w/ a 6 spd.

I like it--if for nothing else--the headlights and grill. I think they'd look great on a kit car, not unlike the Sonata taillights on the Nobles. For that reason alone, I'm glad it hit production.

Good design on the bumper if you want to go boost, nice intercooler opening.

yeah I agree.. when I plan on building a brand new economy car, the main selling point is weather or not the stock bumper on it is going to be good for an intercooler or not

Kia and Hyundai stealing plans and making them cheaper to make the common man feel rich at a steal of a low price deal.

This just doesn't make me want to buy one.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Hmmm...Ill take one over a Civic. More standard hp and tq, and a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty compared to a 3 year 36,000 mile w the Honda...all for several thousand less.

But really...all you Honda nut swingers can keep paying more and getting less if you would like.

However if you read the article the base 2.0 has 156 hp and 144 ft-lb tq, and the top models 2.4 has 173 hp and 168 ft-lb tq...both of which beat the DX/LX/EX Civics 1.8 w 140 hp and 128 ft-lb tq.
No shit captain obvious! You do realize the Si is a Civic?

"B-b-but the Si..." god that seems to be the cry of the Civic owners. Does the fact that the current market Civic is outdone by several rivals hurt you that bad?

Face it, the Si is only a small portion of Civic sales, and has very limited appeal in the small car market. The vast majority of Civic sales is DX/LX/EX models, and that is what the Forte is meant to compete with...and it looks to compare quite favorably.
