what can I do to make it look better?

I am changing out my valve cover gasket on my 2.4 liter Altima SE. It hass an Aluminum valve cover and it it getting pretty nasty looking. What can I do to remove the dark oxidation? Any decent products on the market that can polish up aluminum. Not interested in a chrome shine just getting it cleaned up.
