chrysler files for chapter 11
they're declaring bankruptcy in order to get 8 billion dollars from the government wtf? no matter how much money they get people still don't have money to buy new GMs. This has written failure after failure all over it.

An d on that note, I just bought a mew GM, and I could afford it. Sorry if your luck isn't so good...It's not that people can't afford it, it's that they are scared to buy it, in fear of the other shoe dropping. We are in a recession , and fear of layoffs is just as much real as any layoffs themselves.

Um, we are talking about chrysler, not GM.

Dammit, and I was hoping they would redo the charger based on the 69-70 models.
This country is going down hill fast.
Chrysler/Dodge put out some amazing cars back in the day like the Challenger, Baracuda and the Charger. Would be really disapointing if they go out.

Considering the old school charger, challenger, baracuda, GTX, and the road runner are all worth more than your civic will ever be. Yep sounds like a shitty company to me.
I wonder if they still wanna sell the Viper off. Their last hit was the 300/Charger combo. High gas prices and the economy downturn killed sales of their cashcow Ram. What I noticed with Chrysler is that they hit a homerun with one design like the Ram and try to carry over to other models like the Dakota...unsuccessfully. They score with the Charger, then blunder with the Avenger. New Wrangler...sweet, Patriot/Compass....ass.
I know that's just your opinion, but when Hondas/Acuras are auctioned off at 7 figures like Superbirds and Hemi-Cudas in 20 years, then you can talk shiz! Hell, I guarantee a Viper will fetch more than any NSX.

That being said, this is a serious blow to our economy and will cost more jobs most assuredly. We will be continuing to foot the bill for this and perhaps GM's failure for DECADES. More of your tax dollars going to corporate america and not to the things that DO matter to us, like better highways. So anyone rooting for the failure of a huge cog in our economy, is simply rooting against their own best interests. Hence why Carbon21 is Stevie Wonder in a fun house in this argument.
catch up with the times then come back.
sorry try again.
oh- see sig. i could care less what my honda "goes for".
