a fox body could beat a 14.2 with $300 in mods----especially from a roll



what do you have done for $300 was it new parts---market price or what

 

I ran 13.3 in my Talon for about $750 in mods and 13.001 for about $1300 in mods. No none of the mods were Nitrous and I never had any breakage or reliability problems. I think that is reasonable and probably comparable to the Mustang. Keep in mind there are not some frak numbers they are my numbers and they are WAY below Average. People have gone 12.4 with a TSi AWD for less than $500.

Id have to say stang But thats because Ive seen personally how easy it is to make them go. Btw to the guy wth the Tsi what did you do to it? Ive got a FWD eclipse that would never TOUCH those times. Is it turbo?

Manual boost controller @14#-$50

Add a Fuel Pump for $75 and 18# and this setup should be good for mid 13s. Remember these times are with 2.3 60fts.

 

i dunno man ive raced a few eclipses talons with more than that and beat them on motor---and my car sure doesnt run mid 13s on the motor


im not doubting you--im really not to into dsm so---- just seems awfully fast for those mods

 

Ahhh--its turbo AWD. Thats why. I was wondering how else U got into the 13s. Mines waiting on HRC--hopefully in the next few weeks. 3 exhaust and fuel pump is done though.
