how to ship car state to state?

i was wondering how can you ship a car state to state? who offers this service and how much does it usually run? lets say the distance would be from cali to florida. has anyone done this? thanks!!!!

well one way would to have it put on the amtrak car carrier train. or if you go pickup a dupont registry they have adds for several places that offer cross country shipping on exotics and other cars. i doubt this would be any where near cheap though.

Ebay has a reference page with serveral companies that have varying rates for open/enclosed etc...

I am moving from Toledo to Tampa soon and I found car moving companies in Toledos phone book so I am certain that whichever city your car of interest is located in has it too since Toledo is rather small.
I was considering having my Mercedes shipped to Tampa but am scared to let it out of my sight and in a strangers care so I dont know yet if I will drive it down or ship.
