Thanks for the updates on that Kyle, I'm surprised so many teams protested, as of Wednesday the only team confirming they would protest was red bull I believe. Ferrari even said they wouldn't protest it in the article I read.

Ferrari, McLaren, Renault and BMW Sauber are the teams who have confirmed they are ready to run KERS. Williams, Brawn and Force India have said they won’t. Should be interesting. In an interview with Renault, the engineers said they felt cars without the system would be severely handicapped.

 

 

Well the first practice is over, Rosberg ran the fastest lap, setting down a 1:26.687, with Nakajima (+0.049), Raikkonen (+0.063), Barrichello (+0.539), and Kovalainen (+0.766) rounding out the top 5.

The fastest speed on the track was 307kph, set by Adrian Sutil in the Force India car; while Barrichello was fastest through section 1, Raikkonen fastest through section 2, and Hamilton fastest through section 3.

Theres another practice starting 1:30am est, but I'll be in bed long before then, I'll have the times posted tomorrow, unless someone beats me to it.

@ both McL-M cars, but I like Heikki. Nice to see Kaz doing well, but I think practice showed how much better the cars run with the defusers. Also nice to see Sutil running stronger.

What is with Vettel? you think he would learn there isn't that much track over there? Massa's save was a Holy crap[ how'd he do that moment but over all it was rather uneventful.

That being said, the excitement lies in the teams that ARE running well and the teams that aren't. Should make for a great season.

Tomorrow I anticipate much drama at turn 1, lots of off courses, and the shadows/temps will make the race difficult and dangerous. It really will be a race where the person that makes the least amount of mistakes will win.....and hopefully that will be Rubens!
