99% of the time, the auto gets worse mileage than the manual. This isnt news, its always been that way. Modern day autos with more and more gears are more efficient than ever, but still cant match the mileage of an equivalent manual.

People who opt for the V8 wont care as much what mileage it gets. Regardless, the article claims that it'll have cylinder deactivation for the V8. Frankly, as long as you dont drive like an ass, the mileage will be almost as good with the V8, which is the LS2 last I read and not the LS3.

Nothing to do with mullets. I will continue to have fun driving a powerful car everyday and not worry about the extra few bucks it costs to put a smile on my face. As a general rule, If you want a fast car, you cant bitch about gas mileage. Import or domestic. I have both.

Why are you on tampa racing if you are worried about gas mileage over power?
