a 03 taurus is actually my daily. Its hardly a bad car, 210hp, full size sedan. Fake leather and a sunroof, but meh, its just bland. A guy I used to work with who would always see my driving a 300c SRT or something nice like that would see me in my taurus and just laugh because it is the last car he expected me to drive.

i only like the front and interior, the rear is rather fugly but a tt v6 power plant with an awd drive terrain sounds rather sweet for a grocery getter.

QFT. I think Ford did an amazing turn around here. They got their act together, switched from bland boring and subpar, to quite impressive. I certainly wouldnt expect Ford to jump out with a twin turbo direct injected DOHC V6, much less in a Taurus

Slightly better rear end, thats for sure. Some nice touches. I wouldve hoped for a slightly more aggressive model, but then again, since when has a SHO been anything but a total sleeper?

I like that car; I'm willing to ignore the name's history.
My friend's dad had an early-2000's-ish Taurus which stands out as one of my least favorite cars ever. Crap exterior, crap interior, crap power, crap handling, crap power windows that rattled and groaned, crap fuel pumps that burned out if you dropped below 1/8th a tank of gas, crap everything in a low-mileage car purchased brand new.
With Ford's massive increase in quality and general awesome-ness over the last few years I fully expect this new car will be completely different and better.
