'01 Camaro Problem
So the wife was driving home from work, About 10 miles into the drive the car stopped responding to the gas peddle and shut off about a min later. The car will crank for about 15 seconds then stalls. Any idea whats going on?
Its a 01 v6 5-speed.
EDIT: Car has stopped starting all together. Wants to crank but wont.

The battery is like 30000 miles old, But im sure thats not it, and it also not overheating. Im thinking fuel filter HOPEFULLY and not the fuel pump, but maybe its something electrical?

does it begin to start sort of, or just spin over and nothing happens?

can you hear the fuel pump turn on? does the car click when you try to start it or nothing at all?

If it begins to sort of start.. then it can't be vats. You may have to get the cam sensor readjusted or something. That may be the problem. Any SES light?

I'm trying to think, maybe it could be the alternator? Wouldn't hurt to pull it and bring it to Autozone to check.
