Does anyone know anything about 93 Isuzu Pickups?

I have a freind who has one and he wants to do some upgrades to the engine.. problem is that I cant find any info on what it is and who makes the engine and so far Im getting the feeling that its not fuel injection... but carburated.
Any info would be great.

I think about the only upgrade youll find is to drop a Chevy motor in there. 
My dad had a 80s Isuzu PUp and that was a pretty weak engine and not much out there for it.

depends what engine it has in it. I believe most are either a 2.3 or 2.6 my friend had a 95 with a 2.3 and all he was able to get was a intake specially made by boulevard customs in pinellas park off park blvd. believe it is carbourated (sp?) also but unsure.

i used to have an isuzu p/u and th eonly thing i know about them is that they are SLOW even if you can get an I/H/E + NAWWWS it will still be dogshit

www.Calmini.com has performance for Isuzu. PM me if you need any help I helped a fried rebuild his 94 Isuzu spacecab.
