I havent heard anything new about that. My mom works for the tax collectors office and she gets all the good updates. I think they have pretty much given up on that stuff because it didnt really help. But who knows for sure what the government is gonna decide to do next? :confused:

 

It doesnt really matter if it helps pollution or not... they were getting $10 a car! Times just about every car on the road! I couldnt believe they stopped doing it for their sake. However I didnt mind! Hehehe. Like all my converter werent hollow anyway. The only thing that sucked was they started it like June or July 1st and my B-Day was the end of May so I still had to do it. Keep us updated. I wouldnt be surprised if all of a sudden they make road blocks and do manditory roadside sniffer tests out of the blue..

 

well the o/r h pipe can be cahnged to back to the stock one in a few hours if they were to bring the emmissions back and n20 isnt illegal and shouldnt change your emmissions while not in use so youll be safe if you go with the two........... :w ave:

I think its still illegal to remove the emissions control stuff from your car which should include the catalytic converter no?

Ugh the only cars on the road that bother me are the ones that pour exhaust like a smokestack. Some of them are dangerous just because of the visibility problems they cause!

 

emissions in FL? not until 2005 at first but i still think theyll push it back again since funding will not be sufficient.

plus i was sorting through the papers on my camry before i kicked it to the curb and found an emissions paper from back in 98! haha. my previous owner had to check it but since his wife was a nurse in south st. pete i doubt she did anything. plus i was the first to mod it! and i stil had a stock cat. although headers and exhaust dont help!
