Default What happens when you run the toll booth on the Vet?

Early morning the other day I had to blow through the toll booth at Waters getting on the Vet heading south because I had people behind me, no change and apparently the booth is no longer staffed prior to 7 AM. It's been a few weeks and nothing in the mail, etc. Was kind of expecting a fine or something?

Forgettaboutit!!!

I've gone on the cross town countless times without my sunpass and I have not received anything yet. And supposedly you get a freebie or two throughout the year.

It's the first time I've done it, normally have change, hopefully they won't screw me like the FHP did in bum fuck nowhere coming back from Sebring Sunday night; 78 in a 60 on a road with nothing for ten miles. Female cop, probably didn't like my pimpdaddy license plate frame.

I've ran a couple over the years and never recieved anything....don't stress it. At the worst you'll see a small fine which you can obviously afford.

i've been forced to run the unstaffed ones before and never had an issue, granted i don't make a habit of it though

but i think you're alright, i've been there where i've had the money, but not exact change, what am i to do?

i think they give you leeway

I heard from a toll booth operator that they usually allow three freebies every six months.

once I was worried about one of those unmanned peices of shit and asked at the next toll booth when I had the cash (not change...) i was like can I just pay it here? one time they said don't worry about it, the most recent time they gave me an address to send a check to.

i sent the check for 50 cents, what a waste of time
