If you live in the vicinty of Waters and Dalemabry, Humphrey area (aka Leto area) keep a close watch and on your cars specifically Honda. tonight at about 11 thirty the wifeys civic (2000 EX) was robbed. Although equipped with a Viper alarm they managed to pull the head unit and cause a lot of interior damage as well. This car was not nice in anyway accept it ran and gets great gas i believe the car was targeted for a full theft because of it being a Honda, and due to the damage the ignition and interior recieved (none of it was a clean theft). The police have finger prints (but we all know how much they care) if anyone see any Alpine units come up for sale for way to cheap please post to this thread, and be safe and watch your sh$t. (people need to stick together i have seen way to many posts similar to this lately) and if your reading this guy F#k you.

now a days you need more then just an alarm to keep a honda safe. alarms are only a little snip and there gone.

The cops have prints but they wont ever do anything with them im sure. No no need for a full time guard i do however live in a gated community that is suppposed to have C.I.S rent a cops but none of those to be found. I am going to repair the car best I can (mostly need new center dash section) the ignition looks like some onw was trying to crack the steering collum with a screwdriver because that works in the real world not just the movies so its not to bad besides cosmetics . I am happy however that my Mustang was stored indoors but I really beleive it was targeted for what it was. I will be looking for cheap interior parts if anyone has connections or used ones themselves. I have not worked on this car before but it looks pretty simple as was the basis of design

 

hondas are targeted because they are the easiest cars to break into..... no i dont go breaking into cars i work as a consultant for Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and hear about this constantly but they dont actually do anything.

 

yeah it sucks that even though you used the car for its intended use (daily driver for the lady), it still got fucked with... good luck with it
