super/ turbo
Depending on what your looking for id personally go with a turbocharger setup. Ususally (SC) superchagers are cheaper the power is linear the great thing about superchargers is that there is no spool up time so in lower rpms you have what is known as instant boost although your total hp is robbed by the supercharger cause it is belt driven there requiring more power to turn the belt. Another thing with superchargers is that they usually have low psi limitations depending on blower type...they also suffer for a paracidic loss of power due to heat the longer and harder you run your SC the less power it will produce. There are aftermarket aftercoolers and water injection systems for sale although its at a hefty price. Turbochager which is usually more expensive has goods and bads also. The big thing about turbos is that the need to spool up ( exhuast pressure must build up) the larger the turbine wheel the longer the spool...but they make turbos in all sizes so better than others which have little or no spool although if you have enough pressure built up its really not a problem for any turbo. Turbos also put out great torque and power curves the boost is adjustable and the possiblitlies are greater than SCs. Turbos heating issues are not as great as the SCs most turbo kits run an intercooler. ( ud be foolish not too.) Hope this helps if i can remember anything else ill let you know oh yeah whether you get either or remember to upgrade your suspension and brakes before its great to create all the power but it suckas if you cant stop..laterz Justin
