there is a difference between the JDM and USDM B18c. The compression ratio is 10.6:1 on JDM 10.1:1 on USDM thats where the extra hp comes from.

i duuno but an extra 200 lbs sounds like more than youd want to me on a car whos balance isnt super great to begin with----i mean with 200 lbs on the front isnt the balance going to be like 70%-30%?????

althought I have yet to see this done my understanding is that in a civic you have to mount the engine at an angle for clearance if it were leaning forward that would put more weight in front of the front tires and that is worse than putting it right on the front tires.
