shitty on your part man. but wow, what a douchebag. did he really think he could just drive away in his new "show car" and you guys act like nothing ever happened. Just shows you how smart people are these days. fucking assclown.

 

Well he initially gave us a small deposit on just the paint job. The car was supposed to just get a basic paint job at first so that is all he brought us a deposit on. Then as he added stuff he told us he would bring us money when he could.

Then he said his grandfather, who was "supposedly" paying for the work, didn't want to put a deposit down and then have the car sit in the corner of the shop. So against our better judgment we continued on with the car. Turned out to be a big mistake on our part.

 

Thought it was kinda ironic he wanted to buy a Celica for his girlfriend when he doesn't even own the one he has now. Hell it's in his mother's name and they've barely paid on it.

Even better is that for the amount of work/money put into this car he could have BOUGHT another one.

Well his mom is still paying. They financed it for close to $17K and from what the mom told me last night they have barely paid on it. She told me that the last two months car payments haven't been paid either so it is almost up for repo.

 

Blue book is like $12K so I could get back what I have into it but I don't know what I could realistically sell it for.
