I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Like I said was a medic in the South Vietnamese Military, his wife was killed there shortly after giving birth to his only son. She went to visit him at his post and was killed by a booby trap set by communist forces.
He really was an amzing person, and he had to overcome many hardships, including being imprisoned and later starting over in the US with nothing.
