Do I spy regenerative braking?

Have you/are there any events in the future near Manhattan KS at the Milford offroad lake park? Baha destroyed my GPA, or maybe it was the beer, can't tell, but both were a blast!

(BTW, does USF run SOLIDWORKSFLOWWORKS in any of their labs?)

No regenerative here. We are still working up to wheel speed sensors to run traction control and the like for next year or the year after still

And there are no events slated in KS. As far as SolidWorks, we are the only people on campus who use it or run it. We run Pro-E in class, but we don't like it out at the shop. In addition, we use the full CosmosWorks package

Lusk was slated to teach a Solidworks-based machine design-esque class this fall that was basically going to take Kin&Dyn to an application level. Joel, myself, and another SAE CAD guy were signed up, but unfortunately it was cancelled for a couple reasons. ProE remains the standard at USF.

Hopefully after this Friday's test I can start taking on some of the hardware design for the frame.

So can anyone that is going to USF for mechanical/automotive engineering be a part of this or it only a chosen few? Im going to start going to school in spring of next year at HCC but then Ill try to transfer into USF and I'd really like to be a part of this. Im also pretty sick with a TIG torch

Anyone that goes to the school regardless of major is eligible.

I showed up to the UCF SAE last year, but I wasnt able to commit nearly as much as necessary.

Looks like you guys used a single cylinder..seems to be all sorts of success with single cylinders lately. Weight, weight placement and torque advantage. UCF (I say "UCF" and not "we" because I didnt contribute enough) ran an F4i (quite popular) with everything made in SW.
