Is motorbike license required to ride a 50 cc scooter?

Right but what he's saying is that you dont need the license because it's under 50cc's.

well 50cc bikes are actually 49cc as stated above... just like a ka24de/e = 2389cc... Its just rounded up to sound better.

is the MPG really that much better on a 50cc than a 250cc?
the kawi 250 gets between 60 and 70 depending on the rider. Even though it is only 250, the kawi still rides like a sport bike.
a 50cc scooter would have to be at wide open throttle all of the time just to keep up with traffic. I couldn't imagine that it gets better than 70 mpg on the road...
