Stolen car Clearwater, FL area

My friend got his 1999 Jetta stolen out of his driveway this morning. We were outside at 2:00am and it was there, I get a phone call this morning around 9:00am asking if I pulled a prank on him. We called around, no one has messed with it. Our only guess is that the car was stolen sometime last night. It's a 1999 Jetta, silver, beat up rear bumper with a bumper sticker saying, proud parent of a sailor. It has a head light out. If anyone has any information, please call me at 727-744-0582, ask for Josh.

We need to have TR sting night. Get a tastefully modified Civic in someones driveway and leave it unlocked. When they show up, 50 or so of the larger members come out of the bushes. We'd make the local news, at least.
Good luck with finding it. VWs have VERY expensive parts so they're easy to make a quick buck on. Hope it gets back to you in one piece!

Alright, the police report has been completed. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It turns out the neighbors next door had a break in last night also. So, it's pretty obvious that the car was stolen.
