keep in mind the jets have 50 years of new technology going for them, which is like half of the time planes have existed.how many 50 year old unmodified cars would stand a chance against a new vette or viper?i do think it would be interesting to watch them race each other on a tight course and very low to the ground, with lots of turns like the reno air races.the jets would either have to make larger turns or bleed off a lot of speed.

eh.

youd be surprised what jets are capable of. and just because they dont have to all the time doesnt mean AF pilots dont know how to fly by the seat of their pants.

agreed, all cars did.
I'm not a huge fan, but the older generation WRXs and the EVOs were cool looking, hell, even the older eclipses and others had certain appeal to them. Look at their modern day counter parts and they are all big, fat, ugly bitches. And sitting inside of them, they have tried to make it feel so much bigger on the inside that you are removed from the car. Like you are sitting on it instead of in it. Unless something changes majorly, I won't ever own a car newer than say 2000....

I think it looks fine. I dont see why people have to keep styles dated.

Also the skyline has always been a "technical car" since the R32 came out. Thats what made it so potent, and the fact that you used to be able to modify them quite a bit and aftermarket support is out the roof.

Stock for stock the R32-R34's cant hold a candle to the new GT-R. I like what nissan has come up with. I just wish you could shut some of the electric stuff off, like you can in the 430 scuda and GT3 RS.

I'm not saying I dont like the technical stuff. From a performance standpoint, it is fantastic. but from a looks standpoint, the general style of everything is fat and bloated...
I guess the general masses were getting jealous of their car's slim waist line...
