Ford needs to sell these puppies in the states, fuck the rest of the world.
BTW, if ford really wants the MZR 2.3l DISI engine (same as in my car) they're going to need to fix the fucking rods and forge the rest of the shit. I've already heard of blown motors with rods thrown out the side of the engine. it's something that has me worried, but given the fact my car has been 99% problem-free compared to everyone else i read about on the boards, I don't think I'll have too many problems or fall in line with their shit.

It looks alright imo. And the engine does sound like its gonna be pretty nasty but It better be a track car cuz no chicks gonna think its sexy when the interior starts to fall apart, and theres unexplainable noises coming from it lol.

Hatches have always been more popular over there and elsewhere. They are better at hauling stuff; more room etc.
Americans dont think they are sporty, because we're a bunch of faggots. The majority of the world prefers hatchbacks, and as such, the STi and the Mazdaspeed 3 only come in hatchbacks. The 1 series wasnt sold here until the coupe because we dont like hatchbacks...we think they look too much like wagons and not enough like big terks.

This disappoints me! I really like the 2.3 DISI from an engineering point of view..I'm surprised they didnt build it better. Ah well, I still really want to see it mass produced in a Miata, and have ever since it was first mentioned

well a few things led to me selling it but i will say it was one of the most reliable motors i have ever experienced and one the most enjoyable also. Hopefully soon i would like to do another one.
