I would personally go for the 02 which offers the twin turbo V6 over the 04 which has no turbo but a beefy V8 with 340+hp (Unless you dont care about gas prices) You could put a chip in the V6 and probably make it as fast as the V8. I did some research on boosting the V8 but that will cost you a pretty penny.

I know people say there are LS1 F-bodies around $8k, but I saw one for sale just recently for just under $7k, closer to $6k. I find that interesting and pretty cool. I'm assuming because of gas prices.

The T56's 6th gear is .5:1. That is ridiculous! I'm annoyed that 4 speed transmissions with two additional overdrive gears arent more readily available.
