craftsman bolt out

it'll tear up a bolt, but after breaking 3 craftsman sockets it was sufficiently rounded off, and i didn't think it'd be strong enough but it got it done

get the craftsman though, the harbor freight ones are bullshit, trust me

grab the nut as tight as you can with the vise grips and try and tighten the nut to break it lose then try and unscrew it

First thing is you need the proper square socket to get it off, either a four or eight point socket, then file or grind the fugly off of the plug. use the proper tool and it should break loose. If too much of it is gone, i would use the craftsman tools mentioned^ because you do have clearance issues. Would suck to drop the tranny for that....

they come in a 3 piece set, and are double sided sockets so you have 6 sizes to choose from. Sears is the best place to go, theirs are hardend steel so it wont break.
