I always had heard XAT was one of the better shops too, sad to see such shoddy work for the amount of money invested, I'd expect that from a backyard project not a "respectable shop"

Amazingly horrible work. I've heard enough mixed reviews about XAT to stay away. Come to think of it... I really don't trust any shops on here.

I don't understand how a shop can put out such shit work and feel OK about themselves. Some of that stuff looks highly unsafe.

XAT FTMFW!!!

I have been welding for less than a month and my first exhaust job(also my first tubular weld job) had ZERO leaks.. Its amazing what a fucking wire wheel a flapper disk and some G damn time will do... XAT will get what is coming to them, and good luck getting compensated for what you lost.

Also, Just a shoe in here... You wouldnt of had this problem if you didnt get rid of the 4 cylinder

Those have to be the worst welds comming from a shop that i have ever seen. Especially a place like XAT i've heard from alot of people that they were the best around for 240 swaps.

Damnnnnnn.

I understand the Stock KA mounts,You weld a rectangular piece to them.

But the welds,and everything else...Geez.

I'm in the middle of swapping my s14 to a LS1,and it's by no means easy.

Alot of fab is needed,Can't half ass in these parts.

Good luck man.

Im sure it has something to do with the fact that XAT and TR are tied financialy together. *They have vendor space*

um, actually no Mike, XAT is not currently a paying advertiser, havent been for a few years now. Check your facts please
