30% on the windshield and limo all around on my em2. the daily driver the db just legal tint. dont know the %. i love the limo on my em2. nobody cant see shit inside. thats the way i want it when im driving to or from a show or track event and to keep theives from lookin inside.

I have 15% all around and down to the AS1 dash on the windshield. No problems yet. Anything lower than that and the police might have a problem. One of my best friends is a cop, and the ONLY reason he would pull you over for a tint violation is if you or your car looks shady. They could give a shit about how well you see, their main issue is that if the tint is any darker than 15% they run into visibility issues when they're inspecting the vehicle. They like to know what/who you have in the back seat. If you have a subdued car, you shouldn't run into any issues. If you have an old hoopty or something with a very loud exhaust, you'll attract attention to yourself and they cops will have tickets to give for the tint.
And on a side note, yellow lights are totally legal, anywhere on the car. The only illegal stuff is Red/Blue/Flashing lights on the car. I know this because I got pulled over at 3:30 am in Reddington Shores because my headlights were "too blue". $73 ticket for no good reason. Cop was bored. Goodbye HIDs.

I did an integra I had awhile back, 5% all the way around and 50% on the whole windshield, shit looked awsome, and was pretty good at night because it will cut the glare from asshole with their hibeams on
But the 5% is just too dark for me, after that one I've only had 15% on all cars

is there a chart anywhere online of tint percentages? i wanna get darker tint on the new car, and i am lost as shit when it comes to tint, i just want like impossible to see into tint....also any reccomendations as to installers?
