8k brand new. 25+ mpg average over my trucks old 12mpg. Handles real well. Fun to drive. I wanted a 4cyl but didn't want to be another Honda owner. Drove an SVT years before and liked the Focus.

wayyy back when in middle school a guy in my neighborhood drove a crx.. i used to see him drive by every day. idk why but i fell in love with the car. i know most poeple think its an ugly little car but i love it. so after going through a few daily drivers i finally saved up enough cash to get my baby. only took about 8-9 years to get one lol

When I first moved down here, I was only 20, and I didn't have a car. So I was driving my dad's Kia Sportage around to and from work, and wherever else. Anyways, I turned 21, and my dad and his wife were absolutely positive that I was going to get drunk, go out driving, get into a wreck, and THEY would get sued because it was under their insurance, etc.

So they said I had to get a car asap. I told them I didn't have much money and that I would save up and get a car in 6 months. They were so freaked out about their own little ideas that they just said "We'll give you $10k to put towards a car. Hurry up and find one, and then pay us back." So I started looking online, the back of my mind was telling me to stay DSM, but I really wanted a 300zx. Couldn't find any that were good enough, didn't want a honda, I was looking at some trucks. anyways, I found the black eclipse in miami, drove down and got it the next weekend for $7500. Thats pretty expensive now that I think about it, but I didn't care. Just this past friday, I gave my dad the final payment on it. So now I own my car 100%, and I can't wait to get rid of it.

I'm debating. I just got in an accident, and I'm in the process of thinking about making arrangments to get all the body work done and painted nice.

if I keep it, I'm gonna drop about $10k into it this year. But I could get a different car, and go on a much needed vacation somewhere for $10k. So it's a toss-up. But at least I don't have that car payment looming over me anymore, so things should be free'd up a bit.

And thanks, bishoppac

Had a huge diesel truck a year or so ago, and needed something with 4dr's, and to tow/haul things in, PLUG I'm a diehard big truck fan and well, I'm working my ass off and finally making the money to afford nice things, which is why I have my truck, I absolutely LOVE it, and will drive it till the wheels fall off, even if diesel is almost $/gal.. infact I love it so much in the next few weeks I'll have my 10" superlift on, and some 20x10's with 40x13.50x20 mickey thompson ATZ's

As for the wifes car, I wanted her to have a brand new 2008 car as soon as we had a kid, because she does most of the running around with him and her 94 accord with 180k miles wasn't cuttin it for me, and I had a budget of about $20k to spend on one for her, my mother in law works at bartow ford and I got the X-plan on an 08 ford fusion SE (best looking new ford sedan by far, black on tan), sooooo for about $16k I walked away with it, and she loves it!

I owned a 89 accord sedan way back in the day, which died almost as instantly as I got it. So i inherited a 99 sunfire, lucky me... Which tuned out to be the most frustrating car ive ever owned, it was near impossible to do repairs on it. Everything sucked, for christ sake it was a 2.2lt pushing 115hp! So one day my friend sad he was looking for a new car because he couldn't drive his new one because it was a 5spd. So jumped on it and traded him for it. Wound up with a 94 civic coupe DX. God i love this car, and like all long term relationships you kind of grow tired of them. So im not sure what im going to do with it anymore.

I've always been a Volvo fan. Family full of Volvos and coming from an 850R.

I shopped E46 M3's, Audi S4's and C32 AMG's. My favorite was the C32... but the lack of a clutch pedal made it a no-go. The S60R was cheaper and had a better warranty than the Audi and BMW, and neither felt like they were worth the $10k premium over the R I found. Also, factory forced induction and not seeing myself at every corner...
