I was wondering if you can see if there are any unpaid parking tickets on a car using its license plate tag? online? or call in? or not possible?

damned gasparilla! I was parked at my buddies place the night before.....and we were drankin......low and behold my friends come get me to tell me a lil piggy has been behind my car for a while with his spot light on it. Im like fuck that im not goin out there drunk. but then they come get me again to tell me about the tow truck lining up with it! so then Im sprinting out there to stop this. He still gives me a icket though. apparently the night before in a certain vicinity of bayshore you cnt park on certain sides of certain streets. certainly stupid shit! seeing as when I parked it there they had not put the fold out temp. barricade up until I was not around. he said I could move it but I would still get a ticket. the great part is that he didnt give it to me before I got in to move it. and he didnt follow me. Interesting, but I have a hunch that all that time behind me he probably got my plates and I probably have a ticket on that car, which isnt mine. Still it's a family members who I'm not guna screw over. So how do I find out about this?
